Millions of Christians around the world face discrimination, isolation and rejection from their families and friends because of their faith in Christ.
When Brother Andrew first went to visit persecuted Christians behind the Iron Curtain, he was struck by something a pastor said to him: “We want to thank you for being here. Even if you had not said a word, just seeing you would have meant so much. We feel at times as if we are all alone in the struggle.”
Ever since then, Open Doors has been seeking to come alongside persecuted Christians to let them know that they are not alone.
If you are between the age of 18-30 years then think about joining an Open Doors Youth trip to visit persecuted Christians to offer them your support, encouragement and fellowship. The aim of our trips is to encourage, to pray, to equip and to strengthen. Although you may visit a tourist destination, your trip will not resemble anything like a holiday!
On your return, you will be invited to share something of your experience to raise awareness and funds for the work of Open Doors, so that together we can continue to bring strength and hope to the Persecuted Church.
