Update on Three School Teachers, Dr. Rebekka Zakaria, Eti Pangesti and Ratna Bangun
Ibu Rebekka has completed her Master Degree in Theology in May 2008. Let's praise the Lord for this achievement.
The congregation, totaling up to 90 people (including children), still meet every Sunday at the premises of the David Camp' Christian Church (GKKD) Pamanukan. It is the nearest church of the same denomination, located 40 km away from their village. It takes approximately an hour for church members to get there.
Ibu Rebekka is still leading and shepherding them, Ibu Ratna is ministering as a deacon, while Ibu Eti is an active member of the church.
The church still holds programs for children and youth on weekdays. "The imprisonment has made us more prudent in carrying out our programs, but it didn't scare us to the point of stopping our ministry," said Rebekka's daughter, Linda.
